Each class will still remain 30 minutes, but classes will be at staggered start times to lessen the amount of people waiting in the hallway before class.
Instructors will wear a face mask while on deck and a face shield while in the water.
The pool water will be maintained in accordance with the CDC & Illinois Dept of Health standards. Chlorine will be at least 2.0ppm to help eliminate any virus and bacteria.
The locker rooms will be available for changing out of swimsuits after lessons only. 1 family at a time in the locker room. Please use disinfection spray as provided in the locker room after each use.
All persons entering the building aged 2 years and older must wear a mask. Swimmers will take their mask off on deck before entering the water. Parents must keep their mask on while on deck and in the building.
Only bring the essentials inside! (Phone, keys, towel, mask)
No food or drink allowed in the building or on deck.
There will be designated waiting areas for you to wait before coming onto the pool deck. Your instructor will call you up when they are ready for you.
Instructors are sanitizing and wiping down chairs and all “high touch” surfaces in between each class.
Please do not wear outside shoes onto the pool deck (bring flip flops to switch into)
You will enter through the back entrance (deep end of the pool) and leave through the front entrance near locker rooms (shallow end of the pool) to minimize the flow of traffic. “In one door then out the other”
Only one adult per family will be allowed to enter the building. If you have the ability to keep the person the same for the whole session it would be ideal, but we understand that it may not be possible for all families.
If you or anyone in your household are feeling sick, vomiting, have a fever or any other symptoms of COVID….please STAY HOME! We will be more than happy to accommodate a make up class.
Any family or staff member who has been in contact with or have themselves have symptoms of or have tested positive for COVID will take a 14 day break and may return after this period of time while being symptom free &/or after receiving a negative test result.
